I love this day...being part Irish helps...but now that I am older and wiser I no longer celebrate this day with green beer or green bagels or green anything like I use to....I had this friend Jim that I worked with and every year we would go to Maggie's Pub on Bandini Blvd in Vernon, CA and play darts...eat fish and chips and drink green beer...I have to admit sometimes I miss those days...not so much the beer but being young and having the ability to enjoy!So here is to my wonderful Irish heritage and to the wonderful land of Ireland (where I will visit again someday) and all the fun that this day can bring!
